Ouch Chawlie!

Derrick had a seriously deviated septum which he had corrected by Dr. Smith last week. The first couple of days were miserable for him but he is doing much better. He has to have his cast on for one more week and apparently getting the packing out last Sunday was more horrific then child birth. He let me take a picture this morning but he doesn't want me posting any from the day of his surgery. He had to have gauze under his nose held on by a strap that hooked behind each ear. All of the nurses in my office commented on what a sweetheart he is and he melted my heart when he kept asking me to stay in the room and hold his hand.

Ok everyone- here's the deal on our new house:

I think we shocked my entire family, one, because I'm the last child anyone ever expected to settle down in Twin, and two, because the house is about two block south of my parent's house and is even in their ward (we can see the temple from the master bedroom).

It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and we are really excited about the back yard- it has a big deck and a hot tub that's going to be Derrick's new best friend.

It needs a little fixin up but the good thing is that nothing major needs done. We learned our lesson from all that my parents went through with their hardwood floors so we are going to get ours refinished before we move in. We have a lease a lease on our apartment until March so we will have a month and a half to get things moved over.

I couldn't be more excited about having space for our things. We have been living without a kitchen table because we haven't had the space for one. Derrick says it won't take me long before I've got the house filled- he sure loves my passion for shopping :)

Big News....

We put in an offer on a house and it was accepted!!! The closing date is February 19th and we couldn't be more excited.

I walked in the other room and my mom was watching an 80's music infomercial writing down all of her favorite songs. It cracked me up!


Very intense. The game lasted over 4 hours.

Christmas in Spokane!

We had so much fun with our family for Christmas. We ended up going to Garry and Andrea's house in Spokane. I was able to meet Staci and we all got to meet her fiance Matt for the first time. They flew in from Alaska and were a lot of fun to be with. I hope I spelled everyones names right... don't forget... I'm still new to the family :)
